The Georgia Institute of Real Estate (GIRE) began in 1959 and was acquired by the Atlanta REALTORS® Association in 1980. In 2018, GIRE relaunched as Capitus Real Estate Learning Center, Georgia's premier academy in online and classroom courses, dedicated to always putting our students ahead of the curve. The first-time examinee passing rate of Capitus students continues to be among the highest in Georgia. In 2019, 191 of 269 (71%) of the Capitus in-class Salesperson Pre-license students passed the State exam on their first attempt! In 2019, 134 of 168 (80%) of the Capitus computer-based Salesperson Pre-license students passed the State exam on their first attempt!
